When students arrive on campus, they are seeking an education inside and outside of the classroom. Mac-Gray recognizes that laundry is often perceived as a nuisance, but it’s also an important life skill. So we utilize a variety of tools to provide an education in laundry that is practical, eco-friendly and even fun! Attractive, easy to read signage is placed throughout the laundry rooms, and we also speak students’ language by communicating with them digitally. The Campus Clothes Line is an online resource that gives students a portal to all the information they need to do laundry. Green practices, clothing care advice from a renowned garment expert, The Clothing Doctor – Steve Boorstein, Mac-Gray social community, You Tube videos and lots of prize giveaways make learning about, and doing laundry fun and easy! We make sure students understand how to properly operate equipment as well as how to reduce the impact laundry has on the environment, so they can be clean today and green tomorrow.
